How to create and manage Benefit Categories?

In this article you will learn how to manage the category option for your benefits. Go to the left menu Benefits >> Administration. There you will see the Configure button and inside it, you will find Categories.

Click on Categories and the categories management will open. You'll have the option to create new categories as you like and customize them with emojis, which will appear in your Available Benefits portal. To create a new category, simply click the New Category button:

A new field will be added so you can enter the name of your category and customize the emoji associated with it. Once you've done this, don't forget to click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Once you've created your categories, return to Benefits Administration. Your benefits will still be in the Uncategorized Benefits section, so you should enter there and assign each benefit to the category you want to link using the selector in the Category column. Remember that it's not mandatory for a benefit to be associated with a category. If it's published, it will still appear in the All benefits view.

If you want benefits to be displayed in a specific way, you can order both categories and benefits as you like. To do this, you can drag them by placing the cursor on the 3 vertical dots you'll find to your left. With these simple steps you'll have created your categories, making your portal more attractive and easier to navigate!
